Welcome to

Magic vista ranch

We (Linda Shipp & Kim Van Buskirk) are resident owners with over 65 years of combined experience who really get to know your horse so that we can provide him/her with the best care possible.

The horses are turned out on native prairie grass pastures day and night and allowed to be horses in as natural an environment as we can provide.  Each horse is given an individualized feeding program along with all of the pasture grass and/or hay they can graze on daily.  They are fed grain along with any supplements you provide for your horse.

There are several riding arenas for your use including a covered arena with lights, two lighted round pens (50’ & 100’), a large outdoor arena, a pond to swim your horse in, and plenty of pasture to roam.  Magic Vista Ranch is located within a 45-minute drive to nearby trail riding including, but not limited to, Lake Grapevine, Lake Ray Roberts, LBJ Grasslands, and the Greenbelt to name a few.

Between us we have over 65 years of combined teaching experience to offer you and your horse.  We stress safety first followed up with fun.  We know that if you feel safe and are having fun, then learning will happen and is much more rewarding.

Magic Vista Ranch is located west of Justin between Fort Worth, Denton and Decatur.  We are minutes away from the Texas Motor Speedway.  Click HERE for directions to the ranch.  We invite you to tour our facilities, sit on our wide country-style porch and let us help you rock away your worries.  You’ll be very happy that you did and your horse will thank you for moving here.
